About this deal

It left me craving more, desperate to dive into the next installment of the Royal Elite Series, Steel Princess. So in book two, our Steel Princess is born upon the sacrificial stone of Deviant King’s poolside cliffhanger; the revelation has finally come to Elsa that she needs to remover herself from the Kings’ gameboard. And because the world outside of her sheltered home life is ugly, she plays pretend with others so that her Aunt and Uncle have no clue how others treat her at school.

This one does no such thing; the author is unabashed in their characters' desires and needs, and I freaking LOVE IT. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. super duper possessive as hell, always going all like "she's mine", "stay away from her she's mine", "imma beat you up if you touch her" blah blah blah. Elsa likes to stay in the background but is not afraid to stand up for herself, and while she is afraid of Aiden, she stands up for herself anyway.

Some good, some bad, but this book had all the complexity of fine wine, and I kept going back to study it. I literally finished it in one reading and I ke So anyways, no one knows why he is so affected by her presence, buuuut we find out his reasons as the story progresses and let me tell you.

I'm a spazzy band geek with a saxophone, way too much inner delinquency, and a lack of acceptable maturity. She is focused on the smallest most inconsequential parts of the larger picture and settles for crumbs when she owns the bakery.Despite everything we tried to do to help my little dude fight, the cancer was just more aggressive than we could treat. But there are these moments where she sticks up for herself and you can see this confident girl who’s just waiting to be let loose. The plot of Deviant King is riveting – a complex layer of suspense, darkness and angst, the characters’ mysterious pasts play a role, from the first page – you are hooked. I don’t know what’s the author’s fixation with making her heroines suffer from amnesia (when they already suffer from STUPIDITY) suffering two terminal diseases must be hard. I enjoyed this book more than the previous one because I think the main characters and plot are more developed, so it feels more complete to me.
