About this deal

The first sucks air from the room in and passes it over cold coils on to which the warmer air condenses before dripping into a collection tray or tank beneath.

Overall, I think this dehumidifier lives up to its past reviews and has made me realise that there are other ways to dry clothes, and hopefully, by using this dehumidifier more, I can save money on my energy bills in the long run. Collecting the old product which is officially counted as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). The noise level isn't too intrusive (they're not silent though); the design and build quality is excellent; the timer brilliant and the controls very easy to use!Overall, this is an impressive dehumidifier, however I found it to be noisier than I would have liked. It’s a little larger than some other dehumidifiers I’ve seen, such as the Meacodry Arete One (around 10cm shorter and 5 kg lighter), but the design is sleek and its wheels make it easy to move around the house. The one thing I learnt quickly too is that the Swan's clothing drying function doesn't work as well as the normal dehumidifier setting. It also comes with a continuous draining function, allowing you to leave it extracting without worrying about overflow. Before we delve in to our in depth Swan Sh3070 30-Litre Dehumidifier review, here’s what the seller, very.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. But on top of our expert opinion provided in this product review, we also went to the effort of collating some real user reviews from around the country. Running at an impressive 7p per hour, the Swan dehumidifier is powerful and efficient, so much so you don’t have to panic about running up your energy bills when using it (unlike tumble dryers).

Be aware that you will always get the truth, some of the reviews are good and some might be more negative, so always take them with a pinch of salt! We were previously using those small water collectors that absorb moisture this thing does the job properly. I put the dehumidifier upstairs in the spare room next to the heated clothes airer and let me tell you that I was very grateful for the comfortable fitted handles when lugging the unit up the stairs. Featuring a simple, easy to use, soft-touch control panel with LED display, with the built-in timer you can set it to run for as long as you need it and its impressively quiet so wont disturb you when in use. However, after three hours I checked on the tank and emptied it as I was eager to see how much water it had collected - and it was a lot.

After trying out different timer lengths, I found that setting it on for 6 hours in the morning around 8 am, central in the room with airers meant I could come home from work and the clothes would be dry and ready to fold away. Usually, in that room there are around two to three loads of washing, from the four adults I share the house with, drying at one time which means it gets damp quickly. The device is very user-friendly and practical: it is programmed for its task using only a few buttons on the top-side display. I originally was going to put the dehumidifier in the bathroom as it was a smaller space, but decided against it as it can pose a safety hazard.

Explore Comet and discover a constellation of products from washing machines and fridge freezers to air fryers, 4K TVs, laptops, consoles and more - it’s easy to find everything you need for your home in the Comet universe. Nothing went wrong and no issue, had there been any, I believe I would have received prompt and good quality support. With the capacity to remove 20 litres of water from the air in one 24-hour sitting, this dehumidifier from Swan is a great investment for the dampest of homes. very pleased so far I have it running through the day and turn it off before I go to bed and hardly any condensation on windows now ,they used to be dripping, and upstairs feels much warmer even though heating radiators off a coal fire , we don't have a damp problem just lots of moisture in the house because of showers and an insufficient heating system . The simple way to ideal air humidity: the 10L dehumidifier easily dries damp rooms after construction, renovation and water damage or regulates the humidity in kitchen, bath or bedroom.

Built-in Humidity Sensor - Set your desired room humidity between 35 – 85%, once it has reached the set level, it will turn off to conserve energy. Dehumidifiers help to improve the quality of the air around you, by removing excess moisture from the air that encourages the growth of mould spores, damp and bacteria. After washing a load of laundry, I put Swan's Low Energy Dehumidifier to the test exclusively for Express. Because it's a 10-litre tank, it can last for around four to six hours before the tank needs emptying, and the handy water full alarm function is very useful, I can hear it going off from another room. My airer had items like towels, clothes and the flannels on so some fabrics took longer to dry than others but overall I was surprised just how well the dehumidifier handled it.As a dehumidifier, it works extremely well, sucking in humid air, removing the moisture and expelling the dry air, through the back. I really liked the timer setting, which allowed me to set a start time anywhere between one and 24 hours. Plus, not only can this dehumidifier be used to dry laundry indoors, but it can also be used to keep your home free from condensation, damp and mould.
